After a year of work on improving JoomlaLMS we are please to present you with our new version 1.0.6!

Following our clients' wishes and our own ideas we enriched our JoomlaLMS with new excellent features such as long-awaited Joomla 1.5 native mode support, possibility to add SCORM resources into the File Library, possibility to open SCORMs in lightbox-styled popup window and many others – take a look at the the list of JoomlaLMS 1.0.6 new features and improvements!

New features in Standard and PRO versions:

• Finally, the long awaited - Joomla 1.5 NATIVE mode support! Use our component together with any other native mode Joomla components without any technical problems and restrictions! Native mode allows your Joomla site to work faster and more reliably.
• New layout for SCORM resources: possibility to open them in lightbox-styled JS popup window (SqueezeBox).
  The feature improves they way how your SCORM resources are delivered to your learners. Now you don't need to scroll or resize your large resolution SCORM packages.
• File Library: possibility to add SCORM resources and use them in courses.
  Experience the advantages of using File Library for your SCORM resources.
• File Library: full permissions for administrator users.
  Now the LMS administrator can edit all the files in the Library.
• Quizzes improvements:
  • 'Resume from last attempt' option.
  • Limitation of the number of attempts to take the quiz.
  • Improved Gradebook integration. Now Gradebook contains a link to download a PDF file with quiz results next to the each quiz grade.
• Administrator user interface changes: improved navigation and searching/filtering possibilities in the administrative area:
  • Courses: filter by category and subcategory.
  • Payments list: filter and search by username/name/e-mail.
  • Users management: filter by role/course; search by username/name/e-mail.
  • Students list: filter by course/group; search by username/name/e-mail.
• LMS homepage: new module to overview all users' courses in tree-like structure.
• Improved SMF forum integration.
  Now you can easily manage your forum threads directly from JoomlaLMS.
• Improved Conference feature (completely renewed!):
  • View a web camera of any conference participant (switch on/off).
  • Enlarge a web camera window of any conference participant.
  • Adjust audio and video parameters (for different types of Internet connection).

Features available in PRO version only:

• Advanced reporting. 3 additional reports:
  • Access report: contains a table of all your courses with numbers of visits by learners.
  • Completion report: contains course completion information for all your courses and learners.
  • User grades report: selected user’s progress in all their courses.
• User roles/permissions management.
  Now you can create custom user roles and manage permissions for different user roles (including your custom ones) in the LMS.
• Global Questions Pool.
  You can use your questions stored in the Global Question Pool for quizzes in any course across the LMS .
• Documents: set custom permissions for folders.
  Teachers can set custom permissions for folders when editing them.
